  The Zambian striker has been in top-notch form for Seb Hines' side since her move to Orlando Pride from Chinese club Shanghai Shengli. Banda opened the scoring for the NWSL leaders and scored her second of the game in the 86th minute as she capitalized on a defensive error by the Royals' Madison Pogarch.

  The goals helped her take over the NWSL Golden Boot lead from the Portland Thorns' Sophia Smith. The USWNT star held the lead with nine goals in 11 games before the game, but Banda's brace saw her move into top spot with 10 goals in her first 10 NWSL games.
